For those who have never crossed the threshold of the Value Village in downtown Victoria, just know it is huge and has pretty much everything! I found the colour coordination of the clothing quite pleasing. After a dozen or so dresses I tried on, none of which worked, a pale yellow, sleeveless denim button-up shirt that I picked up on the fly to the change rooms, was the one article of clothing I took home with me. Funny how that works.
Susanna and Dylan are both on baseball teams, opposing teams too! Suz's team is the Honeypots and Dylan's, the Chubs. They had a game that afternoon and their teams were playing. The game was held at Bullen Park in Esquimalt. It was my first time going to Esquimalt and I noticed some sweet photo shoot spots on the way to the field. The game was fun, lighthearted and chill with a "batter up" song playing in the background. Unfortunately, I had to leave early to drive back to Nanaimo in time to catch the 7:15 PM ferry so I wouldn't have to wait for the 9:00. As such, I missed the end of the game, but Suz informed me the next day that her team, the Honeypots, won!! Way to go Honeypots!
