Thank you to all of my faithful readers this past year! It is so encouraging to know when I write a post and publish it, it isn't just going out there and no one notices - I so appreciate your time spent here and comments!
Today also marks my twenty-fifth birthday [yeah, how did that happen?!]. I cannot believe I am a quarter of a century old! But God is good; He has brought me through many changes this past year, helped my photography business grow into what it is today. I have seen Him strengthen my faith and shape me and I know He has good plans for me, which I cannot wait to see unfold! Our ways are not God's ways and His plans are always better than our own, even if we don't think so at the time. I know I have shared this before, but it is worth reading again as Jeremiah 29:11 is a verse I revel in,
"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'"
Now it is time for me to go help make dinner! Sushi, sunomono salad and a glory bowl! Plus carrot cake for dessert! The sushi and carrot cake is, I know, an odd combination, but I l-o-v-e them both and it has become a sort of tradition to eat this on my birthday for the last four years, and I'll be sticking with it for the next few, I'm sure!
