Lindsay and Andy were married at Neck Point Park. The day of their wedding proved to be a stereotypical B.C. west coast day weather-wise. In the morning we were ensconced in fog, which parted into gorgeous sunshine, then some clouds returned, as did light rain, and just after Lindsay walked down the aisle and joined Andy during the ceremony, the clouds let loose a down pour of thick, heavy rain. At this point, Sara, Lindsay’s younger sister and maid of honour, held an umbrella over Lindsay for the remainder of the ceremony. Along with intense rain came wet pages. The pages with their vows stuck together and were missed. As a result, Lindsay and Andy said their vows at the reception when undercover and dry with their MC, and my cousin, Matt, leading them [as in, “Lindsay, repeat after me…”]. It was just as beautiful a moment as it would have been had Lindsay and Andy said their vows in the rain. Thankfully, the rain stopped in time for us to take more photos outside before the reception at Cottonwood Golf Course.
Fun idea: Lindsay had her bridesmaids write their names on the bottom of her wedding shoes [TOMS!] to be her "something blue." All the bridesmaids wore TOMS as well.
I had a hard time not laughing while taking photos, in fact, I did not succeed at all.
