I took these shots a few days before the snow came. These last semblances of fall - the crinkling leaves underfoot, the tiny garden which I have mostly neglected these last couple weeks [until today when I harvested the final sprouting of cherry tomatoes, the spaghetti squash, chard and some rosemary and oregano before the next snow fall comes, supposedly tomorrow] which then surprised me with three nasturtium blossoms, along with the colours of autumn, so rich in every leaf, and now there are barely any trees left holding onto their foliage. I am so thankful I took the time that Saturday afternoon to go out and capture these.
To all my Canadian friends and faithful followers, Happy Thanksgiving!
PS....we bought our Christmas tree at a yard sale last month for $2. Yep. We are BIG fans of yard sale scores.
